Basic Reflections - Exclusive Workshop from My Scrappy Chic

Fundamentals are a fabulous line from Close To My Heart that features cardstock with the same design on both sides, one side in white, the other side in gloss. I decided to create a workshop combining the Paper Fundamentals Basics with the gorgeous Picture My Life™ Beautiful You Scrapbooking Program and coordinating embellishments. This workshop is available until July 2016, while supplies last.

This first layout features a design with a pocket for the right side page. This is perfect for preserving those special treasures that help trigger such wonderful memories.

Instead of using the Picture My Life™ Beautiful You Scrapbooking Program as pocket cards, I trimmed the cards to suit the smaller pieces of the design. These cards are so fabulous and must be seen in person! Gold foil is difficult to photograph. Some cards are black and white, others gold foil and white, and still others have beautiful shades of pinks and juniper with gold foil accents. With the Fundamental Assortment 6 bows are included along with shaped glitter stickers and more. They add just the right finishing touch to the cards.

All of the layouts are inspired by designs featured in the Reflections How To Book from Close To My Heart. Each page features a single page sketch, along with recommendations for multiple sketches within the book can be paired with it. These books also feature beautiful artful layouts to be inspired by and helpful tips to enhance your creative know-how.

I used the Fundamental Stickers Basics Pack to lightly embellish the layouts. Once photos are added, there are many additional stickers to choose from to further journal your special memories, including mini letters. The image on the website is a bit hard to read. The gold stickers shown at the top are gold foil and the stickers in pale blue are true white. They really are so much more beautiful in person.
