Bring your projects to work on, basic supplies and tools. My stamps, inks and tools will be available for use during the crop; including my Cricut & Carts, Big Shot & Dies. Come enjoy a day away to relax and catch up on some crafting! Please bring your own beverages and a snack to share. There will be coffee available. Those who want can pitch in to order take-out for dinner.

MS Fundraiser Crop Recap

We had such a great day yesterday at Greenhaven in Anoka at the 3rd Annual Ladies Day Out MS Fundraiser. Last year this event raised over $3,500 to find a cure for MS. A huge thanks to the Schuerman's for putting on such a fantastic event!

This year I offered a class in paper flower making. We made the six pictured flowers. Thanks ladies for attending my class! I hope you enjoy your flower techniques enabling you to create cute inexpensive coordinating embellishments out of paper.

Recap of Ladies Day Out Crop to Benefit Operation Smile

On Saturday, I hosted another Crop at The Ponds to benefit Operation Smile. It was a great time! 24 fabulous ladies came to scrap the day away. It was a full house and fun was had by all. Best of all, we raised $70 for Operation Smile!

Every hour we had a prize drawing and the winner would get to choose from the prize table. Leann from Pampered Chef and Wendy from Lia Sophia also donated prizes and offered displays.

Here are a few pictures of the ladies cropping the day away. I waited until after the sun went down, because the clubhouse has so many windows the natural light filled the room for most of the day. It was wonderful!

Thank you ladies for joining in the fun and raising funds to support Operation Smile! I hope you will join me at the next event, details will be announced in March.

1st Operation Smile Fundraiser and Ladies Day Out Crop at The Ponds in Saint Francis, MN

Saturday, Dec 4, was my 1st Operation Smile Fundraiser and Ladies Day Out Crop at The Ponds in Saint Francis.  We had 15 in attendance and it was a great time!

 We cropped from 10 to 10, some came and went, but others stayed until the bitter end.

There was wonderful food catered by The Ponds.  We had chicken sandwiches and pasta salad for lunch and a taco bar for dinner - complete with taco salad shells.  Then a brownie to top it all off later in the evening!

I had my little "store" set up so croppers could purchase adhesive and cardstock at will.  As well as wonderful Close To My Heart papers, stamps and other goodies.

Everyone received a 2-page layout make and take.  Each kit was made of a little different papers, but they were all cut to make the same layout.  Here are some of the results:

We had a wonderful time.  Many smiles, laughs, and giggles were heard throughout the day.

There were prize drawings every hour.

 Some of the prizes were hand made by me.

Other prizes were donated by Leeann, pictured below on the right, who is a Pampered Chef consultant.  She was very generous and also donated 10% of her Pampered Chef sales to Operation Smile.  Thank you Leann!

A great time was had by all, and to top it all off, we raised $100 for Operation Smile!  Thank you for your generosity Ladies!

Monthly Crop 'til You Drop Invitation

The Monthly Crop will be on Saturday, July 17 from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm at my home, which I lovingly call the "Scrappy Chic Workshop" when I'm "working". I love my job!!!


The Crop is free, really, no strings. I just do this as an excuse to get the family out of the house so I can scrapbook! If you want you can place orders and receive free product with the Flexible Hostess Club, but that is not required.
