Free To Be Me - Circle Punch Cards

Yesterday my Free To Be Me papers were delivered along with my new 1-1/4" circle punch. So I started playing this afternoon and created 4 cards with my new scrappy goodies.

The papers come with card stock that has a clear pattern on one side. Almost like the pages are clear embossed. It's subtle, just adds a bit of tone on tone texture. I love it! During May 2014 only get this fun paper pack for just $5 with a $50 purchase!

How to:

4-1/2" Square card, top left:
Cut out a square that's 7/8", place it on your 1-1/4" circle, and fold the edges over. I created 9 squares from the circles like this and adhered them to a square card stock. Then layered it up with a diamond twist. This is a great technique to use up scraps from your favorite papers.

Standard card, top right:
Fold the circle into a pie shape, open and press down the little tabs on top. Place 9 together to create a flower. Place an embellishment in the center.

Standard card, bottom left:
Score circles 1/4" in on two sides, fold over. Adhere several together side by side on a card stock strip until you get the desired length plus. Find your center and trim both ends equally. Punched circles also easily create a jumbo scalloped border, just tuck them behind a straight edge.

4-1/2" Square card, bottom right:
Adhere two circles to each other with a center glue dot. Stitch or add some vertical and horizontal interest, then fold the edges over of the top circle. I cut the Teal Shimmer Trim into narrow strips. This is a great product for that because it is adhesive backed.
