Amber Ink Project: Lucy's 5th Birthday Card

My daughter Lucy was helping me choose which Amber Ink digistamp to use for my next project. She totally LOVES the "Love Bug" and I do too!  So I decided to make it her birthday card. We'll be celebrating her big #5 on Saturday, I can hardly believe it.

I used Gimp to recolor the bug and mask in the floral paper for the body, as well as to recolor the sentiment.  I opened the images in Word and typed in the additional "For Our Little", then I printed the images on white cardstock, as well as the ipapers; resized to 6x6 so the patterns would be smaller.

I chose the card pattern Sweet & Simple from Jeanette Lynton's How To Book Originals.  I colored the body of the bug with my bonding memories glue pen and covered it with prisma glitter.  Then I created raised eyes and "Love Bug" letters using liquid glass.

Products Used:
Amber Ink NoKaOi - Pink Blossom ipaper
Amber Ink Swiss Dots - Sunny Yellow: TINY ipaper
Amber Ink Saying - Love Bug (recolored to match the Pink Blossoms)
Amber Ink Wild Animals With Heart - Love Bug
CTMH Hollyhock Cardstock
CTMH White Daisy Cardstock
CTMH Hollyhock Stitched Ribbon (retired)
Liquid Glass
Prisma Glitter
Bonding Memories Glue Pen
Cotton Candy Exclusive Inks Stamp Pad
Sponge
Foam Tape

Happy Scrapping!
